Ground Turkey Burgers
These were insanely simple and quick! Definitely yummy too! I even made a few extra to have as lunches!
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 2 green onions, finely chopped (the long skinny stalks of onion)
- 1/3 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- ground pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Optional: whole wheat buns, avocado, cheese, ketchup, other ‘burger’ toppings
Directions: Mix all ingredients into a mixing bowl. With your hands, mix together all of the ingredients and then make patties with your hands. Put 1 tsp olive oil in a pan and wait until it gets hot. Once hot, place the patties into the pan. Flip once the bottom side starts to brown and patties are done once they are no longer pink inside and outsides are browned.
