Quinoa Breakfast of Champions
A client recommended this breakfast to me and it has quickly become one of my favorites! Definitely give it a try!
Ingredients:
- quinoa (any color)
- craisins (I like the cherry ones!)
- walnuts (or sliced almonds)
- peanut butter – 1 tablespoon
- sliced banana or chopped apple
- 1/2 – 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
I like to put the quinoa in the rice cooker and when I get back from walking my dog in the morning, it is good to go! My client says she makes a big batch of quinoa for the week and then microwaves a portion of it each morning. Either way, serve it hot! Then simply add the rest of the ingredients (in whatever quantity works for you!), stir, and enjoy!
